Color Stories
Is all about finding inspiration in the everyday and turning it into a curated palette for creative projects. From vibrant street art to weathered cars, each Color Story captures a unique scene and distills it into carefully selected hues. Every place, object, or moment has a “color story” waiting to be explored—each color holds a memory, a mood, or an emotion from that experience.
My Color Stories transform these inspirations into palettes that are more than just colors; they’re a way of inviting you to see the beauty in the overlooked and ordinary. Whether it’s the rust of a vintage Dodge or the lively hues of a Seattle mural, each palette is designed to spark ideas and bring a new perspective to your creative work.
Rusty Dodge
Is it even possible to create a color palette inspired by an old rusty car? I tried, and the result is quite intriguing. Let’s dive deeper!
Bellflowers in the Mossy Forest
Join me as we dive into a palette inspired by bellflowers nestled among golden moss.
The Gum Wall in Seattle
In the spring of 2024, I had the opportunity to visit Seattle. While walking around, snapping photos, and sampling the local food, I also looked for design inspiration. That’s when I stumbled upon one of the most colorful and maximalist spot ever: The Gum Wall. I couldn’t resist capturing some photos and creating a color palette from the experience. Check out how it turned out!
